New Africa Foundation overview

 

Our mission is to end poverty, bring enlightenment and transform lives.

Formed in 2008 as Seeds of Africa Foundation, New Africa Foundation is a donor-supported, non-profit organization that empowers Africans through promoting education, healthcare and entrepreneurship.

We subscribe to the philosophy of “development through empowerment.” – The philosophy that providing essential services like education and healthcare and equipping the local people with entrepreneurial tools is the most powerful and effective way to bring change, economic independence, innovation and prosperity.

We are dedicated to gathering the resources and funds needed to achieve our goals. We are dedicated to making sure that communities and individuals that are motivated to take themselves out of poverty and transform their lives gets an opportunity to do so. We work with international and local partners to deliver targeted support with a focus on developing local solutions to local problems and achieving measurable impact that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our work includes:

  • Building education & healthcare infrastructure

  • Supporting & investing in education and health businesses that are targeting underserved communities

  • Investing in African entrepreneurs that providing essential goods and services to the under served, contributing to inclusive economic growth and creating sustainable jobs.

  • Promoting the development of ethical business and community leaders that are helping transforming their communities.
